Travel to Avignon by train

Thanks to the high-speed TGV train, Avignon is now only 2 hours 38 minutes from Paris. Please note that Avignon is served by 2 railway stations :

- Avignon-Centre railway station : situated in the heart of the town.
- Avignon TGV : The new TGV station stands in the southern part of the town. There is a regular shuttle service from Avignon-TGV to the Avignon-Centre.

Travel to Avignon by air

Avignon Airport : this small airport is located 10 km from the city centre. The nearest international airport is Marseille-Marignane, located about 70 km from Avignon.
If you are arriving from Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, you may join Avignon by high-speed TGV train in less than 3 hours.
